(29 November 2024, Singapore) Templewater is pleased to announce the launch of Tamarind Health Limited (“Tamarind Health”), a group which encompasses well-reputed oncology-focused practices and assets in the Asia region. Today, the group includes OncoCare, Solis, Luma, Can-Care and Novena Heart Centre in Singapore, Icon Cancer Centre (HK) in Hong Kong, OncoCare and Can-Care in Malaysia, and Central Luzon Integrated Oncology Centre in the Philippines.
The launch of the Tamarind Health brand marks a significant milestone in the group’s journey to becoming a pan-Asian specialist in oncology-focused healthcare. Tamarind Health reflects the group’s continuing commitment to providing world-class oncology and related healthcare services across the Asia region.
The name Tamarind Health embodies the group’s vision to go beyond treatment to deliver exceptional quality of care to patients. The tamarind tree is celebrated throughout Asia for its health benefits. Its fruits are used in both culinary and medicinal practices. Its steadiness and strength represent a realm of individualized and holistic care rooted in sound medical principles.
The group began in December 2023 as a partnership between Templewater, OncoCare and Novena Heart Centre, with a vision to develop as a premier regional group of doctor-led oncology-focused healthcare service providers. Templewater remains committed to supporting Tamarind Health to deliver high quality and comprehensive care and innovative treatments. The group was formerly known as TW Pengu Holdings Limited and was renamed Tamarind Health Limited in November 2024.
